Roundhouse
The roundhouse was first used as an arts venue in 1964 and has since played host to many seminal performances. It reopened in June 2006, after extensive refurbishment and recent highlights include the annual BBC Electric proms season and the Royal Shakespeare company's histories. The programmes held at the venue are a mixture of circus, music concerts and large scale theatre productions.
Since reopening, almost half a million people have attended an event organised by the Roundhouse. The venue has played host to the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Jarvis Cocker, Paul McCartney, Kasabian, The Who and James Brown.

Following their triumphant return with the album History of Modern in 2010 and a massively successful world tour, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark are back on the road in April 2013 in support of their much-anticipated new album English Electric. The sound of English Electric is more electro than ever, yet still unmistakably OMD with the huge soaring melodies and irresistible lyrical hooks that fans have come to expect over the years.
In support of their latest album, Shaking the Habitual The Kife are heading on tour across Europe including a stop at London's Roundhouse.
Just over three years since the band last played in London, Kings of Convenience are gracing us with a very special appearance at the Roundhouse in May 2013.
Back then Erlend said: “When we started out we were afraid of sounding like other artists but now we feel pretty much alone.” And to this date this hasn’t changed. To be able to make music this emotionally open you have to be ready to lay a lot of yourself on the line and you have to develop the ability to be brutally honest about your own ideas.
Woodkid is the stage name of acclaimed film and music director Yoann Lemoine, and last year's Iron EP and this spring's Run Boy Run laid the groundwork for a series of spectacular shows, including a live broadcast from the top of the Eiffel Tower.
After selling out the Queen Elizabeth Hall during the London Jazz Festival, Woodkid brings music from his debut album The Golden Age to the Roundhouse.
